You are not alone. There is a path forward.
After being humbled then admitting first to God and then to myself that I needed help, I, unlike the Prodigal Son in the story by Jesus (Luke 15:11-32), was too sick and frozen in fear to take a single step forward. I was told by a wise servant of the Lord with hard-won dignity, “Just do the next right thing—and don’t worry about the rest.” Just take that one step forward RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW by reaching out for help.
Right now, life might feel overwhelming. The challenges of not having a stable place to stay, struggling with substance, gambling , and/or sexual addiction, or just trying to get through another day can feel impossible. But no matter who you are, where you are or what you're facing (Matthew 11:28-29) we see you, and we believe in your ability to find a better life.
This guide isn't about judgment; it's about real, practical help here in our community. We have gathered the essential resources available in the Colorado Springs area—from immediate shelter and a warm meal to long-term housing programs, treatment options, job training, and medical care.
Think of this as a map back to stability. The information here is designed to be straightforward and easy to use, helping you quickly find the support you need, when you need it most.
